A study comparing the effects of cinnamon has shown  promising results for cinnamon to be a healthy alternative to Metformin. Cinnamon can help reduce weight and insulin resistance.

 

Studies from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other sources suggest that cinnamon may offer comparable benefits to metformin for insulin resistance and blood sugar management in certain conditions, such as PCOS and Type 2 diabetes. While cinnamon shows promise as a complementary therapy by enhancing glucose uptake and regulating hepatic glucose metabolism, it should not replace conventional treatments like metformin. Always consult with a healthcare professional before making any changes to your treatment plan
